SSC Selection Posts Phase IX 2021 Details
Pay Scale:
The salary of various posts varies region-wise with various increments and perks associated with the job post from Level 1 to 7.
The basic salary for Selection Posts ranges from Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 34800/- and the grade pay ranges from Rs. 1900/ to Rs. 4800/- as the post-wise salary is different but the range lies as mentioned before.
Application Fees:
The applicant of the category (OC/OBC/EWS Male / trans-man) should pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred).
The applicant can also pay the fee through the online mode of payment using the URL provided on the Home page. All recognized Credit/Debit cards and Net Banking facilities can be availed for this purpose. Charges applicable for usage of Debit/Credit cards and net banking as per the rules from time to time will be levied to the candidates.
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.

The Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate only will be accepted by the Commission for determining the age eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

- There will be 100 MCQ for 2 marks each.

How to apply for SSC Phase IX 2021
Staff Selection Commission has started accepting online applications for Staff Selection Posts Phase-9/2021 from 24th September 2021 onwards. The last date for submitting the application form is 25th October 2021. So eligible candidates have to submit their online applications quickly before the last date to avoid any last-minute technical issues. So stay with us because now we will discuss the complete procedure for filling online application.
The process of filling online application for the examination consists of two parts:
I. One-time Registration.
II. Filling online Application for the Examination.
Part-I (One-Time Registration):
Please read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination carefully before filling up the online ‘One-time Registration form’ and “Application Form”. Before proceeding with One-time Registration, keep the following information/ documents ready:
a. Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP).
b. Email ID (to be verified through OTP).
c. Aadhaar Number.
If the Aadhaar Number is not available, please give one of the following ID Numbers. (You will be required to show the original document at a later stage):
i. Voter ID Card
ii. PAN
iii. Passport
iv. Driving License
v. School/ College ID
vi. Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private)
d. Information about the Board, Roll Number, and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination.
e. Disability Certificate Number, if you are a person with benchmark disability.
Follow this simple step to complete the registration process:
♦ Frist go to the official Website of Staff Selection Commission.
♦ Click the “Register Now” option (If you don’t register your name on the SSC website).
♦ Fill up all the blanks with your basic details (Adhaar No., Candidate Name, Father Name, Mother Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, Address, Educational Qualification Details) and Click the Save option.
♦ When the Basic Details are saved, you will be required to confirm your mobile number and email ID. On confirmation, your data will be saved and your Registration Number will be displayed on the screen. Your Registration Number and Password will be provided to you on your mobile number and Email ID.
You have to complete the Registration Process within 14 days failing which your Registration Details saved so far will be deleted.
♦ Now log in using your Registration Number as username and auto-generated password provided to you on your mobile and email.
♦ On successful login, information about the “Basic Details” so far filled by you will be displayed. You may edit it if required, or proceed further by clicking on the “Next” button at the bottom to complete your Onetime Registration.
♦ Provide information about your Permanent and Present Address. Save the data and proceed further to the last part of the Registration Process.
♦ Save the information provided. Take a draft printout and review the information provided thoroughly, before “Final Submit”.
After completion of the registration process, “Basic Details” can be changed only twice.
Part-II (Online Application Form)
♦ Log in to the online system through your „Registration Number‟ and password.
♦ Click the “Apply” link in the “Phase- IX/2021/Selection Posts Examination” Section under the “Latest Notifications” tab.
♦ Select the Region name to which the post you are applying belongs.
♦ Select the Post Code for which you are applying.
Note: If a candidate is applying for post code no.KK11421 (Post Name- Junior Grade of IIS), a new row will appear below Sr. No. 18 for selecting at least one language preference(s)* out of 12 languages (English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Bengali, Assamese, Oriya, Marathi, Sindhi, Kannada, Telugu) studied up to 10th Class, by clicking language options. (*Please see the details of Post Code KK11421 in post details)
♦ Post Name and Level of Post are automatically displayed based on the Post Code selected by you.
♦ Give your preference for Examination Centers. You may choose examination Centers within the same Region. The choice for all three Centers must be given in the order of preference. It may carefully be noted that Region once selected in the very first Online Application Form, will be frozen for all subsequent applications across all Regions irrespective of the level of Post-category.
♦ Upload your recent Photograph (not more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination).
♦ Upload your signature.
♦ Complete your declaration by clicking on the “I agree” check box and fill up the captcha code.
♦ Verify the information provided by you and “Submit” the Application.
♦ Proceed to make fee payment if you are not exempted from payment of the fee.
♦ When the application is successfully submitted, it will be accepted ‘Provisionally’. Now take a printout of the application form for submission to the Commission after the conduct of the Computer Based Examination as and when called for as well as for their own records.
