IBPS Clerk 2021: Breaking news for all jobseeker, the online IBPS Clerk 2021 examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process under CRP CLERKS-XI for Vacancies of 2022-23 and selection of personnel for Clerical cadre Posts in the Participating Banks tentatively scheduled in December 2021 & January 2022.
Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Banks listed below as a Clerk or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP Clerks -X).
This IBPS clerk 2021 examination will be in two tiers i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, Online Preliminary and Online Main. Candidates who will qualify in Online Preliminary Examination and are shortlisted will have to appear for Online Main Examination. The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS), an autonomous body, has received a mandate from the banks mentioned below, to conduct the recruitment process as mentioned above, once a year.
IBPS will make arrangements for conducting an online Preliminary examination, declare the result of the online Preliminary examination, and inform the shortlisted candidates about the online Main examination.
Prospective candidates will have to apply to IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2021 after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examinations and provisional allotment, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee/ intimation charges, the pattern of examination, issuance of call letters, etc. and ensure that they fulfill the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.

All candidates should pay Rs. 1000/- for their application fees. By providing the information that appears on the screen, the payment can be processed via Debit Cards/Virtual Cards/Master Cards/Maestro/RuPay), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, and Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates, intending to apply for IBPS Clerk 2021 should ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS in this advertisement:
Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) &
(v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age (As of 01.07.2021):
Candidates applying for the job must fall under the age group of 18 to 28 years as of 01/01/2021. The relaxations in the upper age limit for the various categories as permissible are applicable.
Educational Qualification:
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any quivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy:
Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Note: Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2021
- There will be 100 MCQ for 1 mark each.
- The duration of the test will be 60 minutes (1 hour).
- There will be a penalty one fourth or 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- The level of questions will be as per the educational qualification required for the post.
- There will be 3 parts in the examination for which the details have been mentioned below.

How to apply for IBPS 2021
♦ First, go to the official Website of IBPS.
♦ Click the “Register Now” option (If you don’t register your name on the IBPS website).
♦ Fill up all the blanks with your basic details (Adhaar No., Candidate Name, Father Name, Mother Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, Address, Educational Qualification Details) and Click the Save option.
♦ Now upload your documents……

- A hand written declaration
♦ When the Basic Details are saved, you will be required to confirm your mobile number and email ID. On confirmation, your data will be saved and your Registration Number will be displayed on the screen. Your Registration Number and Password are also provided to you on your mobile number and Email ID.
♦ The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
♦ You can pay by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
♦ After Final Submit, an additional page of the IBPS Clerk 2021 application form is displayed wherein you have to follow the instructions and fill in the requisite details.
♦ If the online transaction has not been successfully completed then you have to login again with your provisional registration number and password and pay the Application Fees/ Intimation Charges online.
♦ On successful completion of the transaction, now an e-receipt will be generated.
♦ Now take a printout of the e-receipt and IBPS Clerk 2021 online application form. Please note that if the same cannot be generated then the online transactions may not have been successful.
