KMC Recruitment 2021: Kolkata Municipal Corporation recently announced recruitment notification for 121 Medical officers and 205 Staff Nurse on a contract basis. The vacant posts are for a regular or part-time basis. Interested candidates can apply for the vacant posts on the official website of KMC.
The walk-in interview for the post of regular Medical officer is on May 17 and for the part-time Medical Officer part-time on May 24.
However, the interview date for the post of Staff Nurse is yet to be released. Those who want to apply can visit the official website to check for the eligibility criteria and other important details before applying for the vacancy.

KMC Recruitment 2021 Details
Post Name: Medical Officer
Pay Scale:
Part Time: Rs 24, 000/- (Twenty four thousand) per month.
Regular: 60,000/-(Sixty thousand) per month.
Interview & Reporting Time:
Part Time: 24.05.2021/11.30 am
Regular: 17.05.2021/11.30 am.
Venue of Interview: Room No. 254, 2nd Floor, PMU, Kolkata City NUHM Society, S, S.N.Banerjee Road, Kolkata-700013.
Essential Qualification: MBBS from MCI recognized Institute with 1-year compulsory Internship.
Age Limit: Up to 62 years as of 1st May 2021.

canceled. - The Essential Qualifications mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to claim selection. All the essential qualifications must be completed on the date of submission of the application.

Remuneration: 25,000/-(twenty five thousand only) per month.
Essential Qualification:
• The candidate should have completed a GNM training course from an institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council / West Bengal Nursing Council.
OR
The candidate should have completed B.SCNursing Course.
• The candidates must be registered under West Bengal Nursing Council and must
have proficiency in Bengali.
Age (as on 01.05.2021): Not more than 40 Years (Age relaxations will be given for reserved category candidates as per extant Govt. Norms).
Mode of Selection & Panel for engagement: On the basis of marks obtained on basic qualification and interview a panel will be prepared for engagement as per rule.
Application will be in following manners strictly:-
a) Application forms not properly filled in or incomplete Application forms are liable to be cancelled.
b) The Essential Qualifications mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same dose does not entitle the candidate to claim selection. All the essential qualifications must be completed on the date of submission of the application.
c) Candidates must be submitted photocopies (self-attested) of documents along with the original filled-up application form duly signed by candidates as mentioned below. Documents will be verified with originals at the time of Interview:
• Age Proof of Certificate (Madhyamik or equivalent examination certificate)
• All mark sheets (including internship wherever applicable) & pass certificates of GNM / BSC Nursing. (Madhyamik, H.S & Graduation mark-sheets other than nursing are not required).
• West Bengal Nursing Council Registration Certificate. (Provisional certificate may be allowed.)
• Caste Certificate.
• Photo proof Identity card & proof of Address (Passport/Voter ID/ Aadhaar)
• Passport size photo must be pasted on the original application with signature.
d) No rounding off of marks will be granted. Proportionate marking upto 2 decimal points will be considered.
e) The decision of the competent authority regarding the engagement will be final.
f) The Kolkata City NUHM Society reserves the right to change/ modify any/all of the above conditions.

The sealed envelope should be submitted in the dropbox in front of room no 254, 2nd floor of CMO Bldg.
Candidates may submit their application in dropbox on 12.05.2021 and 13.05.2021 from 11.30 am. to 4:00 pm. No application will be received by post/ courier/ dropbox after 13.05.2021. After the scrutiny list of the eligible candidates will be uploaded, our website and venue & date of walk-in-interview will also be published in that list.
